District Administrator Presented a Donation from Stall Operators to “WEISSER RING”

Doing good and taking responsibility together: At this year’s Spätlingsmarkt, exhibitors once again raised funds for a good cause. Their efforts resulted in a generous donation, which District Administrator Allgaier rounded up to a total of 6,500 euros. To mark the 50th anniversary of WEISSER RING this year, the donation will benefit the organization, which supports victims of crime.

“With this donation, we want not only to provide financial support but also to send a message: one of compassion, solidarity, and the responsibility not to leave people in difficult life situations on their own,” emphasized District Administrator Allgaier. “We sincerely thank the exhibitors for their contribution.”

Strengthening Volunteer Work and Supporting Those in Need

With more than 40,000 members, WEISSE RING is Germany’s largest support organization for victims of crime. Around 3,000 volunteers are active nationwide in nearly 400 local chapters. One of these is located in Ludwigsburg.

WEISSE RING stands by people who have been victims of crime. Its services include, among other things, personal support, practical assistance, and referrals to other support services. The volunteers support those affected with their time, empathy, and dedication.

“The donation from the booth operators makes an important contribution to supporting those affected by difficult life situations and opening up new perspectives for them,” explained Hans Matheis, state chairman of WEISSER RING in Baden-Württemberg.

A Sign of Solidarity on the 50th Anniversary

The donation ceremony is also an opportunity to highlight the volunteer work of WEISSER RING and to draw attention to the situation of people who have been victims of crime.
