It reads: "From 1994 to 2009 and again since 2014, you have been a member of the district council and have helped shape the development of the district. During these years, you have worked on almost all committees. I am grateful that you have contributed your experience and expertise to the work of the district council." District Administrator Haas recalled that Balzer was awarded the district's medal of merit in 2009 for his voluntary work and the district council's bronze medal of merit in July of this year for 20 years of membership of the district council.
"I am also grateful that you have made yourself available as Chairman of the Board of the Ludwigsburg District Energy Agency and for your great commitment to the LEA. The LEA has developed enormously, and that is above all thanks to you," continued the head of the district administration. Finally, he thanked Balzer for his commitment as mayor and district councillor for the benefit of the district and its citizens and wished him all the best on his birthday, especially good health, and a wonderful celebration with his family, friends and acquaintances.
