High-ranking visitor to the District Office: District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier received the Ambassador of the Republic of Ecuador in Berlin, Manuel Antonio Mejía Dalmau, in his office on Thursday (January 16). Mejía Dalmau was accompanied by the Ecuadorian Honorary Consul Siegfried Rapp.

Four individuals stand together in a well-lit room. One person is signing a document on a podium, while the others watch with smiles. The setting features wooden walls and abstract artwork, suggesting a formal or celebratory occasion.

The reason for the visit was the five-year anniversary of the Ecuadorian honorary consulate in Ludwigsburg and the municipal climate partnership between Ludwigsburg and Ambato, which has been maintained for two years - the city of 180,000 inhabitants is located around 140 kilometers south of the Ecuadorian capital Quito.

The visit to the district administration office took place as part of a three-day visit to the city and district of Ludwigsburg. In conversation, Allgaier, Mejiá Dalmau and Rapp noted that there are more and more young people taking part in exchanges between Germany and Ecuador. "We should encourage young people to take advantage of this opportunity," said District Administrator Allgaier. The discussion partners agreed that an educational partnership should be considered in the area of dual training. The ambassador and his delegation were also present at Allgaier's inauguration on Friday evening in the district hall.
