District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier welcomes Israeli pupils and assures them of the district's solidarity and support

The Israeli pupils from the Emek HaHula Regional School, who were welcomed by District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier on Tuesday in the district hall together with pupils and teachers from the Alfred-Amann-Gymnasium Bönnigheim, returned to Israel early and safely on Thursday on a special flight at their own request. The district of Ludwigsburg made the special flight possible together with the Stuttgart Regional Council and the Israeli Religious Community of Baden-Württemberg.

District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier introduced the district of Ludwigsburg and also addressed the brutal attack by Hamas on Israel in his welcome address. He expressed his sympathy to the students and assured them of the solidarity and support of the Ludwigsburg district. The students were very grateful for the solidarity and hospitality, especially from their host parents, but wanted to return to their families due to the situation in Israel.

Israelis had been in the Ludwigsburg district since Saturday

The students had already left Israel shortly before the Hamas attack and had been in the Ludwigsburg district since Saturday. They visited the Alfred-Amann-Gymnasium, went on a city tour of Bönnigheim with German pupils and visited the Pädagogisch-Kulturelle Centrum (PKC) Former Synagogue Freudental and the Jewish cemetery there.
