It reads: "For four decades, you have worked in an honorary capacity as a member of our district council, including over 28 years as parliamentary group chairman of the CDU district council and deputy chairman of the district council, in a responsible, reliable and determined manner for the good and successful development of our district and have made valuable contributions thanks to your wealth of experience and great expertise."
Allgaier went on to say that Hollenbach had also shone for four decades with great local political and personal commitment as mayor of the municipality of Murr from 1972 to 2012 and also as a member of the state parliament from 2005 to 2016.
"I value you as a competent local politician with a strong character, who acted in a results-oriented, straightforward and respectful manner with great perseverance and always represented his position clearly and for the benefit of the citizens. With this in mind, I am delighted to be able to congratulate you on your special milestone birthday and say thank you," said Allgaier.
Manfred Hollenbach was a member of the district council from 1984 to 2024. He was a member of the Administrative Committee, the Social Committee, the Council of Elders, the Board of Directors of Kreissparkasse Ludwigsburg and numerous association meetings and other committees. Hollenbach was awarded honorary citizenship of the municipality of Murr in 2016 and the district's Medal of Merit in 2024, as well as the Golden Louis Bührer Medal of Merit from Kreisparkasse Ludwigsburg.
