District Administrator Allgaier receives ambassadors for an informal exchange

District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier recently received the German Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Bernd Heinze, for an informal exchange. The reason for the meeting was to get to know each other personally and to discuss matters relating to the district.

It was Heinze's first visit to the Ludwigsburg district office as ambassador. He has been Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Turkmenistan since July 2024 and heads the embassy in Ashgabat.

In conversation, the diplomat, who was born in Freiberg am Neckar, talked about his varied career. This led him to the Federal Foreign Office via training in the higher non-technical administrative service at the Ludwigsburg city administration and the Ludwigsburg district office as well as studies at the Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration, at the University of Constance and in the USA.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and identify points of contact for further discussions. Both sides rated the open dialog as profitable and constructive. Finally, Heinze signed the district's guest book.
