District Administrator Allgaier visits the municipality of Möglingen

District Administrator Allgaier has set himself the goal of visiting all 39 municipalities in the district and
talking to the mayors on site. The third
stop this year was recently in Möglingen, which has a population of around 11,400.
Mayor Rebecca Schwaderer welcomed the district administrator with a joint breakfast
in the town hall. Topics of discussion included the accommodation of refugees
from Ukraine, the status of the light rail system, where Rebecca Schwaderer is deputy
chairwoman of the special purpose association for the light rail system in the Ludwigsburg district
, as well as the district-wide citizens' cooperative Affordable Housing, of which Möglingen
is a member of the supervisory board.

Allgaier showed great interest in current projects such as the update
of the community development plan. At a "future meeting", the municipality's development areas for the next decade were defined together with the
citizens. Milestones already
achieved include the Silcherstrasse children's house with family and district center,
which was inaugurated in June, and the inauguration of Westrandstrasse in Ludwigsburg,
which is expected to ease traffic congestion in the east of Möglingen. The next major project
in Möglingen is the construction of the new fire station, the location of which was confirmed in a referendum
.

The conclusion of the meeting between District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier and Mayor Rebecca Schwaderer
was that they would like to intensify the existing exchange in order to continue the good cooperation
between the municipality of Möglingen and the district on a broad
basis.
