District renovates roadway between Oberstenfeld and Gronau

From July 6-10, the Ludwigsburg District Office will be carrying out road surface repairs between Gronau and Oberstenfeld to repair major road damage.

A roadblock is featured with a red and white barrier, and a circular road sign indicating 'no entry.' There is a yellow sign pointing to the right labeled "Umleitung," which means "detour" in German. Several warning lights are positioned at the top of the barrier.

In calendar week 28 from July 6 to 10, the road builders of the district office will be carrying out a rehabilitation of the road surface layers. This affects the L1117 and L1116 between Gronau and Oberstenfeld. The work will require a full road closure between Oberstenfeld and Gronau in both directions. The local detour leads via Beilstein.

The state of Baden-Württemberg is subsidizing the renovation with 100,000 euros. The work will be carried out as quickly as possible. The district administration office asks for your understanding for the resulting traffic disruptions.
