The Ludwigsburg district will once again have a booth this year in the “Halle der Regionen” at the Agricultural Festival on the Cannstatter Wasen in Stuttgart. Visitors can learn about the district’s diverse range of tourist attractions—including cycling trails, museums and galleries, nature trails, and the “Steillagen” app. At the wheel of fortune for the tourism umbrella brand “Echt.Schön.Schräg.”—which promotes the cultural landscape of the terraced steep slopes in the district—winners can look forward to various prizes. The Agricultural Fair is southern Germany’s largest trade fair for agriculture, forestry, and the food industry and takes place every four years at the Cannstatter Wasen in Stuttgart. The Ludwigsburg district’s booth is located in Hall 4, the Hall of Regions.
“I’m proud of the diversity found in our beautiful district. Come to our booth to discover and be inspired by our offerings, products, and museums; treat yourself to a glass of wine at the Württemberger Weinbergwerk eG; and enjoy a relaxing day at the 2026 Agricultural Fair,” says District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier, addressing potential visitors.
Daily Rotating Partners and Guests at the Booth
The district’s fair presence will be complemented by various partners and guests. On two days each, Kraichgau-Stromberg Tourismus e.V. and the 3B Tourism Team will be at the booth to showcase the region’s diverse cycling and hiking opportunities. In addition, various clubs, museums, and service providers will be at the booth every day to showcase what the district has to offer in terms of culture, cuisine, and history. Many of the guests will also introduce themselves on the program stage in the Hall of Regions.
Württemberger Weinbergwerk eG Participates as a Sub-Exhibitor
For the first time, Württemberger Weinbergwerk eG is participating as a sub-exhibitor at the booth. The Weinbergwerk, an association of winemakers along the Neckar and Enz rivers who are committed to cultivating and promoting steep-slope vineyards and their cultural landscape, offers its high-quality new steep-slope wines as well as wines from the participating wineries. Those interested can learn more about cultivation and winemaking on steep slopes from the winemakers of the Weinbergwerk. The Weinbergwerk also offers wine tastings at the booth (4 wines, duration approx. 1 hour, price: €20.00 per person). Requests for time slots for the wine tastings can be made in advance at tourismus[at]landkreis-ludwigsburg.de or booked on the spot at the booth.
Those interested can find information about the daily booth program and the guests on the district’s website at www.landkreis-ludwigsburg.de/LWH2026.
