Ludwigsburg district turns 50 - "Landkreisfeschd" from 23 to 25 June with stage program and a look behind the scenes - District Administrator Allgaier: "We are very much looking forward to celebrating a joyful festival together with the citizens

If that's not a reason to celebrate: the district of Ludwigsburg has existed in its current form for 50 years! That's why the "Landkreisfeschd" will take place from June 23 to 25 with free admission on the grounds of the district administration office on Hindenburgstraße in Ludwigsburg. "We are very much looking forward to celebrating a cheerful festival with many attractions and highlights together with the citizens of the Ludwigsburg district - there really is something for everyone!" says District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier. You can experience the "District Office BACKSTAGE", i.e. behind the scenes. The exhibition stands of the individual departments are spread across the entire grounds of the District Office (Hindenburgstraße 20, 30 and 40) and offer hands-on activities for the whole family. In addition, there will be an extensive and varied program on the large stage in the inner courtyard of the health department (entrance Hindenburgstr. 20). Food and drink will also be provided.

A group of six musicians stands together, wearing black jackets with gold embellishments. They display friendly smiles, with one member extending his arms outward. The photo conveys a sense of camaraderie and excitement, ideal for promoting a music group or band.

The festival kicks off on Friday, June 23, at 8:30 p.m. with a performance by "Höhner" on the Landratsamtsbühne stage. The Cologne cult band is known for songs such as "Viva Colonia" and "Wenn nicht jetzt, wann dann?" as well as their latest hit "Prinzessin". Before the musicians' performance, DJ Andy Dangel (SWR 4) will heat up the audience before District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier welcomes the guests. Admission is from 6 pm and the concert ends at around 10 pm. A free ticket for the concert is available online at www.landkreis-ludwigsburg.de/landkreisjubiläum.

The stage program on Saturday, 24 June, starts at 10:00 a.m. with a blue light service with the blue light trombone choir and district marching band, which will provide the musical entertainment afterwards. In the inner courtyard of the health department, the blue light organizations will present a demonstration exercise with historic vehicles at 11:30 am. At 12:00, pop cover songs will be performed by the a cappella ensemble "Unerhörte Tonartisten". From 12:35 pm, the TSV Murr ballroom dancers will present their new dances. Afterwards, seven former master craftswomen who passed their master craftsman's examination 50 years ago will be awarded the Golden Master Craftsman's Certificate. The 1st Tanzsportclub Ludwigsburg (TCL) will present a colorful cross-section of its extensive program at 1:30 pm. Afterwards, the members of the Oßweil Athletic Sports Club will present a historical sword fight. The six musicians of the Israeli "Clore Modern Quintet" will delight the audience from 2:15 pm with traditional pieces from their homeland and English songs. Afterwards, the Tanzsport Akademie Ludwigsburg will give a tour of the club's dance development opportunities. The Saturday stage program concludes at 3:30 pm with a half-hour performance by the 25-piece orchestra of the Helene-Lange-Gymnasium.

On Sunday, June 25, Zumba and line dance classes from the Schiller Adult Education Center start at 11:00 a.m. - participation is expressly encouraged. This will be immediately followed by English and Israeli music played by "The Clore Modern Quintet" from the Upper Galilee, a partner region of the Ludwigsburg district. At lunchtime, the audience can look forward to a performance by the Royal Dance Remseck e.V. association, which was only founded in 2021. Then, at 12:45 pm, it's "clear the stage" for Markus Klohr and band. The duo's program highlight is the world premiere of the anniversary song, which was composed especially for the district's anniversary by Markus Klohr. The Gerlingen Chamber Orchestra will then play a humorous overture by the composer Luigi Cherubini. In contrast, the Oßweil Athletic Sports Club will be demonstrating historical martial arts from 14:00. The show group from the TanzTraum dance school in Schwieberdingen will be presenting a "colorful all sorts" of modern ballet, funky jazz and musical dance. Immediately afterwards, the dancers from the Tanzsport Akademie Ludwigsburg will present themselves from "young" to "old". The band "Mens Shack" will bring the stage program to a close at 3:10 pm with a 50-minute excerpt from their repertoire ranging from AHA to ZZ-Top.

The district administration office asks visitors to travel by public transport rather than by car, as there will be limited parking spaces around the Hindenburgstraße site. It is recommended to use the free shuttle service with historic buses and electric buses, which will take visitors from the Monrepos parking lot, the Favoritepark S-Bahn stop and the parking lot of the Ludwigsburg University of Public Administration and Finance (Reuteallee / corner of Fröbelstraße) to the Landkreisfeschd. Bus routes 421 and 533 also stop directly at the Landkreisfeschd. A large bicycle garage is located directly at the Landkreisfeschd (entrance Hindenburgstraße 30).

Further information about the Landkreisfeschd and the program can be found online at www.landkreis-ludwigsburg.de/landkreisjubiläum.
