From January 20 to 22, interested visitors were able to find out about current trends and travel destinations in the Zwickau town hall. At the invitation of the partner district of Zwickau, the district of Ludwigsburg presented its hiking, cycling and leisure program as a guest at the joint stand of the district of Zwickau. A variety of cycling and hiking maps offered interested parties the opportunity to plan routes and trails for upcoming vacations. Visitors to the stand were also able to find out about the new steep slope app "Echt.Schön.Schräg." from the district of Ludwigsburg.
Every day, Anna-Lena Heimerdinger and Martina Fehrenbach from the District Development, Climate Protection, Mobility and Tourism Department invited visitors to a tasting of steep slope wines from Felsengartenkellerei Besigheim in keeping with the theme of steep slopes. The wine tasting was accompanied by snacks from the Huober Brezel company in Erdmannhausen. Visitors to the travel trade fair accepted this offer with enthusiasm.
In addition, a competition was offered at the trade fair stand in connection with the steep slope app "Echt.Schön.Schräg.". The prizes were wine gifts from Felsengartenkellerei Besigheim. Prof. Dr. Frank Adler, Head of Environment, Technology and Construction at Ludwigsburg District Office, drew the winners on behalf of District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier: "I am delighted that the Ludwigsburg district's offer was so well received. Both regions - the districts of Zwickau and Ludwigsburg - are also linked by winegrowing. A visit or vacation in either region is always worthwhile and worth a trip. The inter-communal exchange goes far beyond the daily work, and I am very proud of that," said District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier.
During the daily program on the action stage at the Zwickau travel fair, the employees of the Ludwigsburg district also provided information about the steep slope app and the hiking opportunities in the steep slopes in the district. A quiz gave the public the chance to put their knowledge of the terraced steep slopes to the test. Prizes included wine coolers from the "Echt.Schön.Schräg." umbrella brand.
After a successful trade fair appearance in Zwickau, the Ludwigsburg district tourism team is hoping for a large number of guests from the Zwickau district and is already looking forward to the Zwickau 2024 travel fair.
The district of Ludwigsburg was also a guest at the CMT travel fair and presented its cycling and hiking program as well as the steep slope app of the umbrella brand "Echt.Schön.Schräg.".
From January 14 to 22, interested visitors to the CMT travel trade fair in Stuttgart were able to find out about various travel destinations and a wide range of caravanning offers. The district of Ludwigsburg was a guest at the Kraichgau-Stromberg Tourismus e.V. stand on 14 January 2023 and promoted the cycling and hiking program in the district of Ludwigsburg. "I am delighted that the district of Ludwigsburg is of such great interest to visitors, both as a local recreation destination and for short breaks. It shows once again that vacations on the doorstep are still very important and are in vogue," said District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier.
The steep slope app of the Ludwigsburg district was also presented at the Kraichgau-Stromberg Tourism stand to promote the terraced steep vineyards in the district. Interested visitors were shown the app on their cell phones and the district raffled off wine gifts from Felsengartenkellerei Besigheim with the steep slope app competition.
On January 16, 2023, the district was a guest at the Stuttgart Region stand and was able to promote the tourism offerings in the Ludwigsburg district together with the other districts of the Stuttgart Active Region. The great interest shown by visitors in the Stuttgart Active Region was reflected in a large number of informative discussions and consultations.
The CMT Travel Trade Fair 2023 was also a great success for the district of Ludwigsburg and the tourism team is looking forward to welcoming a large number of guests from Germany and abroad.
