Ludwigsburg district invites you to the big steps challenge #allesgeht

After the cyclists in the district of Ludwigsburg achieved a sensational result in the CITY CYCLING event in July, they will be lacing up their running shoes in October. From October 1 to 31, 2025, the pedestrian traffic campaign #allesgeht of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Fahrrad- und Fußverkehrsfreundlicher Kommunen in Baden-Württemberg e.V. (AGFK-BW) will take place. The district invites all citizens who live, work or go to school in the district to take part in the district-wide walking challenge.

It's about bringing exercise into everyday life and strengthening the community, because walking is healthy, fun, promotes togetherness and improves quality of life. Every step counts - whether it's a walk during your lunch break, on the way to work, to the shops or when hiking through the region. The routes taken are documented in a friendly competition via the Teamfit app, which is available for Apple and Android at https://teamfit.app.link/agfk. The district administration is also taking part in the competition in-house.

On foot: ideas and formats in the municipalities

In addition to the walking challenge, there will be many other activities throughout October that focus on walking. The "walk and talk" format provides routes that citizens can explore on their own.

The "walking café" includes guided themed walks. The dates and routes are published on the campaign pages of the participating municipalities. An overview can be found at https://www.allesgeht-bw.de/.

Themed trails turn exercise into an experience

Some "walking cafés" for the month of October are organized by the district office itself. Different areas of the office have prepared their themes and designed walks for this purpose. The offers range from forest walks and health topics to culture and insights into public transport. The district of Ludwigsburg is cooperating with the district of Heilbronn for the first time this year, extending the opportunities for exercise into the Heilbronn region.

Information on the campaign and the calendar of events are available at https://www.landkreis-ludwigsburg.de/allesgeht-2025.
