The goal of this initiative is to bring more energy into everyday life and strengthen a sense of community. Walking not only keeps you fit and is enjoyable, but also brings people together and enriches the quality of life. Every single step counts, whether you’re getting some fresh air during your lunch break, walking to work, running errands, or hiking through the beautiful region on the weekend.
Local communities are getting involved right here at home
This year, the municipalities of Asperg, Besigheim, Bietigheim-Bissingen, Großbottwar, Ludwigsburg, and Marbach am Neckar from the district are officially participating as campaign partners in the Steps Challenge with their own teams and calls to action.
All residents of the district can use the Teamfit app to either join existing teams, create their own groups, or join the Ludwigsburg District community team.
The distances walked will be tracked in a friendly competition via the Teamfit app, which is available for Apple and Android (link: https://teamfit.app.link/agfk).
The district administration at the Ludwigsburg District Office will once again be participating in the popular step challenge.
In addition to the step challenge, there is, of course, plenty more to discover in the district. For example, you can explore the hiking trails, the offerings from the tourism associations, and the wide variety of courses at the adult education centers.
