There have been no changes to the result of the election compared to the summary report of June 11. The election committee unanimously approved the overall election result. The result will be forwarded to the regional council and checked there.

Holding the local elections together with the European elections presents those responsible with major challenges every five years.
257,005 voters took part in the district elections
In the district of Ludwigsburg, there were 409,510 eligible voters for the district elections. 257,005 voters took part in the district elections. This corresponds to a voter turnout of 62.76 percent.
There were a total of 5,380 invalid ballots. Different criteria led to ballot papers being declared invalid. "For example, votes were not marked positively or too many votes were cast," explained Lena Hofmeier, an employee of the district council office, to the election committee. A large proportion of the invalid ballot papers were due to too many votes being cast, Hofmeier continued.
Audit of the district council election: Quick results were determined on June 11
In addition to determining the result, the meeting also reported on the audit of the district council election and the corresponding changes to the provisional result were approved. Hofmeier explained that a few arithmetical corrections had arisen, but had no effect on the result. There were minor changes compared to the quick report, for example due to transmission errors. In addition, some ballot papers were subsequently declared valid by the district administration office.
The quick registration was completed on Tuesday, June 11, at 6 pm. Ingersheim provided the fastest notification on Monday, June 10, at 11.30 am.
