District council elects new head of the Central Management and Schools department

Jutta Kremer-Weig will be the new head of the Central Management and Schools department at the district administration office. The district council elected the 54-year-old at its meeting on Friday (April 24, 2026). She succeeds Andreas Eschbach, who will be retiring. The head of the department will be vacant from August 1, 2026. The district administration office expects a seamless reappointment. District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier congratulated Kremer-Weig on winning the election.

Jutta Kremer-Weig completed her studies in the higher non-technical administrative service at the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration in Ludwigsburg, graduating in 1994 with a degree in public administration.

Currently head of office at Esslingen District Office

After parental leave and various positions as a clerk, she became Head of Internal Services at the Main and Personnel Office of the City of Leinfelden-Echterdingen in 2011. From 2012 to 2015, she was a personal assistant to the Head of the Main and Personnel Office of the City of Stuttgart. After that, from 2015 to 2018, she worked as Head of Administration at the Verband Region Stuttgart and from 2018 to 2024 as Head of the Main Office of the City of Vaihingen an der Enz. She is currently Head of Auditing and Municipal Supervision at the Esslingen District Office. She has also been an honorary labor judge at the Stuttgart Labor Court since 2020.
