County road 1695 between state road 1100 and the entrance to Poppenweiler/Hochberger Straße fully closed from September 16

The K 1695 between the L 1100 and the entrance to Poppenweiler will be repaired from Monday, September 16. This will require a full road closure. The road builders from the district administration are setting up detour. The work is expected to last until September 27.

A roadblock is featured with a red and white barrier, and a circular road sign indicating 'no entry.' There is a yellow sign pointing to the right labeled "Umleitung," which means "detour" in German. Several warning lights are positioned at the top of the barrier.

The work will be carried out in two construction phases. The first section begins at the junction of K 1695 and Sommerhalde and extends halfway to the junction of Humboldtstrasse and Bunsenstrasse. From there, the second section begins as far as the junction with Mühläcker Straße. The road builders will mill off the existing asphalt layers and lay the new asphalt layers. The repair of the damaged roadway is expected to last until September 27.

Traffic will be diverted from Marbach via the K 1664 in the direction of Neckarweihingen and from there via the L 1110 to Poppenweiler. Coming from Hochberg, the detour will be via the K 1668 to Hochdorf and from there via the K 1673 to Poppenweiler.

The District Office asks road users for their understanding for any disruptions caused by the work.
