There have always been close ties between the rural women in the district and the district administration: the district administrator is always a welcome guest at the District Rural Women's Day, the rural women in turn take part in the district's "Spätlingsmarkt", and the physical proximity results from the fact that the office is housed in the district's own building in the former agricultural center on the Wasen.
The link between the 5,700-member strong district association and the district administration has now been renewed by District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier during a visit by District Chairwoman Marie-Luise Linckh from Enzweihingen and District Managing Director Dorothee Hanschek from Markgröningen. In addition to financial support, which has been continuously assured, there are also practical areas of cooperation, such as educational work. The common interests are intensively cultivated through lectures and workshops for local associations by speakers from the district's own nutrition center.
