Creative exhibition: SCHOOL ART exhibition TEXTILE

As part of the "Art in the District Hall" series, the SCHULKUNST exhibition will present creative works of art made from a wide variety of textiles at the Ludwigsburg District Office from March 26 to June 3, 2026.

Until June 3, pupils are exhibiting their works at the Ludwigsburg District Office (Landratsamt Ludwigsburg).

Woven, knitted, warp-knitted, braided or felted - anything is possible at the SCHULKUNST textile exhibition.

The Baden-Württemberg Centre for School Quality and Teacher Training (ZSL) invited children to get creative with textiles as part of the SCHULKUNST program. The results were diverse and surprising works of art. For example, records that come to life, items of clothing that transform into a tent or completely new textile objects. With some works of art, you have to look a second time to even recognize that textiles play a central role.

The SCHULKUNST program of the state of Baden-Württemberg has been in existence since 1985 and is an important funding measure for artistic and aesthetic education in schools. Every year, up to 500 schools of all types participate in this program.
