Free bike check at the Ludwigsburg district office on April 8, 2025

Spring also marks the start of the new cycling season. On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, the Ludwigsburg District Office is offering the opportunity to have bicycles checked by experienced bike professionals free of charge. The RadCheck will take place from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm on the campus of the Ludwigsburg District Office.

A welcoming sign reading "RadCheck" is displayed prominently, indicating a free bicycle inspection event. Two individuals, one in a blue shirt and the other in a helmet, are engaged with bicycles nearby, preparing for the check-up. The setting suggests a community-focused event.

Minor repairs are carried out directly on site at the RadCheck (Ludwigsburg District Office).

Minor repairs, such as inflating tires, checking the lighting system or oiling the chain, are carried out directly on site. There are also valuable tips for maintenance and care as well as other useful information about cycling.

The RadCheck can be accessed via the entrance at Hindenburgstraße 20 - the mobile repair workshop is signposted from there. Prior registration is not required.

The RadCheck is part of the state initiative RadKULTUR, which aims to promote the joy and naturalness of everyday cycling in Baden-Württemberg and thus contribute to a change in mobility behavior.
