The PSA test (PSA stands for prostate-specific antigen) is an important blood test for the early detection of prostate cancer. Along with skin cancer, it is the most common form of cancer among men in Germany. Early diagnosis is crucial for successful treatment. Typically, the test must be paid for out-of-pocket as an individual health service.
Appointments can be booked online
Since last year’s campaign saw very high demand and was met with an overwhelmingly positive response, the Department of Health is repeating the free cancer prevention campaign. The campaign is aimed in particular at men who were unable to secure an appointment last year or who have not yet been able to take advantage of the offer. Advance registration is required to participate. Appointments can be booked exclusively online via a registration tool. Interested individuals can use this tool to reserve an available appointment. Appointments will only be assigned as long as time slots are available.
The registration tool will go live on Monday, November 2, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. and can be accessed via the following link:
