This is possible thanks to the new "Spatial Chat" platform, which the Ludwigsburg district job center has tailored specifically for the virtual training fair in collaboration with the Ludwigsburg agency K3. At "Plan A Digital" from 21 to 25 June 2021, the job center will bring young people and potential employers from the region together in a video chat despite the coronavirus pandemic. A modern website and an interactive video chat tool will be used - with low technical hurdles, simple user guidance, a modern look and an experiential character.
"The coronavirus pandemic has made it even more difficult for young people with fewer opportunities to find the right job," says District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier. With the virtual training fair "Plan A - digital", the district office is enabling direct and personal contact with potential employers. "This helps both sides: The companies fill vacancies and the young people can find the right job for them in each case," continued Allgaier.
"We want the young people to feel comfortable at the training fair - if we can't organize a fair in real life, then the offer should be as low-threshold as possible," says Christian Zillmann, Head of Company Advice at the Jobcenter. The aim of the event is to ensure that as many young people as possible find an apprenticeship that suits them - and thus corresponds to their "Plan A".
The virtual training fair "Plan A Digital" lasts a whole week: from June 21 to 25, 2021, Monday to Friday, you can log on to www.plan-a-digital.de, find out about vacancies and immerse yourself directly in the virtual environment to talk to representatives of more than 30 companies from the Ludwigsburg district via video chat.
Anyone looking for a job in the Ludwigsburg district at the start of the training year can take part. It is not necessary to register in advance, but it is recommended that you take a look around www.plan-a-digital.de beforehand. Interested parties can already use the website to find out what to expect during the event week, how the technology works, which companies will be present and when and, of course, which apprenticeships are on offer.
