End of the year for child day care in the district hall

A total of around 150 childminders came to the district hall on Tuesday (November 12) for the eighth annual daycare event organized by the Competence Centre for Child Daycare. The childminders were able to find out about current topics at the various information tables of the health department and book tables of the district media center and the public library.

A crowd of people stands attentively in a conference room, facing a speaker who is performing animatedly. Tables are set with papers and bottles. The atmosphere appears lively and engaged, with the audience actively participating in the presentation.

The exchange of experiences among like-minded people was particularly valuable for the childminders. Anja Beckmann, Head of the District Youth Welfare Office, gave an annual review of child day care in the district and presented the results of the survey on the training courses offered by the Competence Center for Child Day Care. It was particularly pleasing that the evaluation revealed a very high level of satisfaction with the qualification offers. Ludger Hoffkamp, magician, clinic clown and pastor, created many new impulses for child day care with his interactive lecture "Humor as a door opener - what makes children happy".

The Competence Center for Child Daycare at the Ludwigsburg District Office has been in existence since 2012. Around 1050 children aged 0 to 14 are currently being looked after by childminders. Interested parties should take the opportunity for a personal meeting and contact the district office's Competence Center for Child Daycare. The respective pedagogical specialists, their office hours and further information can be found on the Internet at www.tageseltern-lb.de.
