Informative tour of the Petschl farm

As part of the state's "Transparent Production" campaign, interested consumers are invited to take a look behind the scenes at the Petschl family's farm in Marbach on Sunday, June 12, 2022.

A flock of brown chickens gathers in a grassy field under a clear blue sky. Some chickens are near a wooden structure, while others are scattered throughout the area, highlighting a peaceful rural setting. The landscape features distant hills and trees.

In direct contact with the Petschl family as producers of local produce, visitors learn lots of interesting facts about the free-range laying hens, the rearing of fattening pigs and the cultivation of grain, sugar beet and beet. The farm's own and other regional products can be purchased in the "sales house". After the farm tour, participants can enjoy a light snack and exchange ideas with each other. The tour starts at 2 pm and lasts approx. 2 hours.

The farm is located at Reutpfädle 1 in 71672 Marbach am Neckar. If you are interested, please register by Thursday, June 9 at the latest by calling the Agriculture Department of the Ludwigsburg District Office on 07141 144 2700 or 07141 144 44935.

The program with information on all farm openings offered this year is available online at www.ludwigsburg.landwirtschaft-bw.de.
