In the night from July 2 to 3: Revised night bus network in the Ludwigsburg district goes into operation Many new connections in the district night bus network

With the restart of the night buses in the Ludwigsburg district on the night of July 2 to 3, a modified and improved route network will also go into operation following the pandemic-related interruption of night bus services. The district administration and the VVS therefore recommend that passengers check the "VVS Mobil" app or visit www.vvs.de before setting off. Passengers can thus quickly get an overview of the new connections.

The changes to the route will result in many improvements for night owls in the district: around 11,000 additional residents will be able to benefit from the night bus service in future. Specifically, this means that night buses will stop in the districts of Kallenberg, Riet, Höpfigheim, Kleiningersheim, Gronau and in the south-eastern part of Besigheim (including Ingersheimer Feld).

Passengers from Unterriexingen, Hohenhaslach, Horrheim and Ensingen can look forward to no longer having to change from one bus to another in Markgröningen at night. In future, they will be able to change directly from the S-Bahn to the bus in Bietigheim. Passengers will therefore only have to change buses once for the night journey home from Stuttgart.

In addition, the cities of Ludwigsburg and Bietigheim-Bissingen can be reached directly from other municipalities with night buses. In future, Bietigheim can be reached from Unterriexingen, Hohenhaslach, Horrheim, Ensingen and Großingersheim without having to change buses. Ludwigsburg, on the other hand, can now also be reached without changing buses from Hemmingen and Münchingen.

Changes have been made to the following night bus routes: N44, N46, N52, N53, N55, N56, N57 and N58.

The other night bus routes N41, N42, N43, N47, N48 and N65 remain unchanged.

More detailed information on the changes can be found on the VVS website www.vvs.de.
