8,271 first and second vaccinations were administered by the mobile vaccination teams of the district vaccination center by March 25. As of March 23, 6,234 primary and secondary vaccinations had been administered by the mobile vaccination teams of the Stuttgart I Central Vaccination Centre. The vaccinations given to residents of assisted living facilities are included in the total number and were not recorded separately. Vaccinations have not yet been fully completed there. A further 222 people were scheduled for yesterday's second vaccinations.
"I am delighted that we have now vaccinated the particularly vulnerable groups of people in the retirement and nursing homes after just under two months," says District Administrator Allgaier.
Despite the completion of the vaccinations in the inpatient care facilities, mobile vaccination teams are still occasionally visiting inpatient care facilities. The reason for this is that the facilities can report further needs if, for example, they have several new residents or new employees.
Vaccinations in the pop-up vaccination centers are also progressing. Since the start on March 18, 1,344 people eligible for vaccination have already received their first vaccination on site in eight municipalities. A total of 28 municipalities in the district have now expressed their interest in a pop-up vaccination center.
Now that the vaccinations in the inpatient care facilities have been completed, the vaccinations in the integration assistance facilities can also begin. To this end, the home supervisory authority will contact the various providers to arrange appointments. Vaccinations will then take place in around 14 further facilities.
