With this modernization, the county is investing approximately 550,000 euros in the long-term viability of the county administration building. The new entrance system, featuring automatic sliding doors, improves the flow of traffic and facilitates access to the building. A newly created security area enables targeted visitor management and enhances protection for guests and employees.
Investment in Safety, Comfort, and Functionality
A newly constructed canopy will provide waiting visitors with shelter from the elements while also highlighting the architectural design of the main entrance. In addition, optimized glazing contributes to energy savings, and modern digital information technology helps visitors navigate the building more easily.
Security Service as the First Point of Contact
With the reopening, the security service office is located directly at the new main entrance. The security service serves as the reception desk there and is the first point of contact, particularly for visitors with scheduled appointments. The Citizen Information Desk remains available, as before, to address all visitors’ questions and concerns.
Access through the automatic sliding doors is available to customers and employees during the District Office’s general visiting hours. Outside these hours, the doors do not open automatically. Access to the building is then only possible by personally approaching the security service during its on-duty hours.
