With around 1,360 participants, the fair was once again well attended and offered both those interested in training and employers the opportunity to engage in a direct exchange. Application documents could be submitted and internships and some job interviews were arranged. This year, employers also had the opportunity to highlight the range of part-time apprenticeships and entry-level qualifications on offer at their stands.
Positive response from employers
The intensive planning and organization by the Jobcenter proved its worth again this year. The feedback from the exhibiting companies was extremely positive. One employer from the healthcare sector reported back after the fair:"Taking part in the fair was definitely worthwhile for us because we were able to speak to many interested parties and noticed that interest in care professions has increased." Another employer from the industrial sector gave the following feedback: "This year there were many well-prepared and interested young people. We arranged job interviews directly as a reward for the good preparation and positive impression." Overall, the exhibitors were delighted with the organization and atmosphere. Many companies have already signaled their interest in participating again.
Young people and parents appreciate the wide selection
The young people and their parents were also impressed. The opportunity to talk directly to potential employers was used intensively. The variety of companies and training occupations, the regionality and the open and supportive atmosphere were particularly praised. "There is a lot of help if you have any questions," reported one young person and one mother said: "I like the fact that the stands are regional - all the companies are here in the area."
Due to the high number of visitors and the great demand from companies in the region, the "Plan A" training fair has developed into an important component of training placement in the Ludwigsburg district.
