All citizens are cordially invited to take part in the fundraising campaign and purchase a ginkgo tree. 100 percent of the donations collected will be passed on to the beneficiaries. The prices are as follows: Small ginkgo 5 euros, medium ginkgo 10 euros and large ginkgo 30 euros.
District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier is the patron of the Tour Ginkgo. This year, the Christiane Eichenhofer Foundation's campaign is on the road in the Ludwigsburg district to collect donations for Aufwind e.V. Bunter Kreis Ludwigsburg. The Bunter Kreis supports, advises and accompanies families with prematurely born, seriously or chronically ill children in coping with this stressful life situation.
Last week, the Tour Ginkgo with 100 cyclists cycled almost 200 kilometers over two days through the district of Ludwigsburg for a good cause. In the process, 75,000 euros in donations have already been collected for the Aufwind association. The fundraising campaign will continue throughout the year.
