The movie is about three friends who, in the summer of 1990, find millions of GDR money in an old mine shaft that has been stored there to rot. Together with their friends and neighbors, they develop an ingenious system to exchange the now worthless money for goods and cheat capitalism.
The admission fee of 8 euros includes coffee, tea and cookies after the movie. Staff from the public health department will provide information on the subject of flu protection and give tips on how to stay healthy during the cold season. Cinema-goers can test their knowledge of natural immunity, vaccinations, colds and flu in a quiz and win a tea store voucher. The event is a cooperation between the Stadtseniorenrat Ludwigsburg e.V., the Central Filmtheater Ludwigsburg and the health department.
