"Geliebte Köchin" in the "KinoKaffeeFilm" series at the Central Filmtheater on June 18

On Tuesday, June 18, the health department of the district administration will be hosting an information stand on the topic of nutrition at the Central Filmtheater Ludwigsburg (Arsenalstr. 4) as part of the "KinoKaffeeFilm" series. In keeping with the theme, the film "Beloved Cook" by Trần Anh Hùng will be shown from 2.30 pm.

"Beloved Cook" is about the shared passion for excellent food and the unconventional (for the 19th century) love between the excellent and freedom-loving cook Eugénie and her employer Dodin Bouffant. The film is based on the novel "La vie et la passion de Dodin-Bouffant gourmet" (1924) by Swiss author Marcel Rouff. The director won the prize for best director at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival. The work was also selected as a French candidate for the 2024 Oscars in the Best International Film category.

The admission fee of 8 euros includes coffee, tea and pastries after the film. During the get-together, Annette Maier and Sandrine Gienger from the public health department will provide information about healthy eating and give tips on how to incorporate variety into your diet and drink more into your daily routine. Nutritional knowledge can be tested in a quiz with prizes awarded.

The event is a cooperation between the Stadtseniorenrat Ludwigsburg e.V., the Central Filmtheater Ludwigsburg and the Health Department of the Ludwigsburg District Office.
