The guided tour starts at 10:30 am at Illingen train station. From there, the route leads via Zaisersweiher and then follows the Metterradweg through the charming countryside to Bietigheim-Bissingen, where arrival is planned for around 2 pm.
At the finish, participants can expect a short welcome from the Mayor of Bietigheim-Bissingen, Michael Wolf. Afterwards, in addition to visiting the cycling action day, there will be the opportunity to obtain comprehensive information on cycling in the district at the information stand of the Ludwigsburg District Office. You can also look forward to a small surprise, which will be handed out to all tour participants.
The cycling action day therefore not only offers information and an exchange of ideas on the subject of cycling, but also a great opportunity to actively experience the Metterradweg and get into conversation with like-minded people in a relaxed atmosphere.
Participation in the Metterradweg tour is free of charge. Registration is not required. Wearing a cycle helmet is recommended. Participants are asked to bring a roadworthy bicycle and sufficient drinks for the journey.
The tour with further information can also be found in the ADFC events calendar at https://touren-termine.adfc.de/radveranstaltung/165320-auf-dem-metterradweg-zum-radaktionstag
