Winter is over, the sun is beckoning: the perfect time to go on a discovery tour in the region. From April 1, the "Regional Window" on level 3 of the Ludwigsburg District Office will provide inspiration. This is where the Marbach-Bottwartal Wine and Reading Landscape presents its new hiking and enjoyment tours. The exhibition shows the diversity of the region and invites visitors to experience the cultural landscape in the Bottwartal in a variety of ways - from signposted circular tours to wine vending machine enjoyment tours and special enjoyment hiking events.
Eleven circular trails lead through the Marbach-Bottwartal wine-reading landscape
Whether a short tour or a longer hike: eleven signposted circular trails between 9 and 16 kilometers are an excellent way to explore the varied landscape. Lichtenberg Castle and Hohenbeilstein Castle as well as the Schiller National Museum, which towers above the Neckar, can be seen from afar during the hikes. The beautiful surroundings are complemented by culinary delights. Wine taverns, wineries and restaurants offer fine wines, local produce and culinary specialties.
Detailed information can be found in the hiking brochure, which is available free of charge during the exhibition at the district administration office. Further flyers are also available, for example on the new wine vending machine enjoyment tours of the Marbach-Bottwartal wine reading landscape. These are described tours with literary stops. Some of these are located on the Württemberger Weinwanderweg and the Wein-Lese-Weg. Information material is also available for the "Wine, hiking and enjoyment with winegrowers and writers" event taking place in May, as well as for many other exciting excursion options.
The "Regional Window" can be visited during normal opening hours in the district office building on level 3:
Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Monday: 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
