On behalf of the Ludwigsburg district administration,
the district council and personally, the head of the district administration sends his best wishes and, above all, good health for the new
year of life. During his 16-year term of office as mayor of Marbach, he "took on the diverse
municipal tasks such as the creation of public facilities and the development of
building and commercial areas with great commitment as a proven administrative expert in the
town of Schiller", said the district administrator. "Your sure eye for what is feasible in terms of municipal policy
and your unerring instinct for what is financially possible and your personally likeable
manner have set you apart. Your cultural commitment to the city is also unforgotten today
. The Schiller National Museum with the Museum of Modern Literature has blossomed
again."
Herbert Pötzsch was a member of the district council for 20 years from 1999 to 2019. "Your expert advice
was always appreciated and you played a key role in shaping the district's projects," said
the district administrator as Chairman of the District Council, thanking him for his voluntary work. Pötzsch was
a member of the administrative committee, the association assembly of the state welfare association
Württemberg-Hohenzollern, the supervisory boards of the clinics and the supervisory board of the waste recycling company
Ludwigsburg (AVL). He also deserves respect and recognition for his 16
years of commitment to the Pädagogisch-Kulturelles Centrum Ehemalige Synagoge Freudental
(PKC), including six years as Chairman of the Board.
In 2019, Pötzsch was awarded both the district's medal of merit and that of the
Landkreistag in bronze.
