It reads: "In your 16 years in office as mayor of Bönnigheim, you and the municipal council have accomplished a wealth of tasks that have benefited all sections of the population. With your style, you have given the town of Bönnigheim a high profile." The head of the district administration cites as examples "your successful commitment to the design and realization of the Amann quarter, the successful redevelopment of the old town, the village development in Hofen and Hohenstein and your tireless work on the further development and modernization of the school center in Bönnigheim". Bamberger's 15 years of work in the district council and its committees were also greatly appreciated.
District Administrator Allgaier wished Bamberger "all the best for his birthday and a wonderful celebration with your family, friends and acquaintances".
