It reads: "Through your valuable commitment to local politics, you have actively contributed to making our district of Ludwigsburg more liveable and sustainable for its population." He thanked Sickinger for his many years of service as a member of the district council and its committees. District Administrator Allgaier wished Sickinger "all the best and, above all, good health" for the next decade of his life.
Rudolf Sickinger was a member of the district council from 1999 to 2024. Throughout this time, he was a member of the Environment and Technology Committee and, most recently, a deputy member of the Administration Committee, the Social Affairs Committee and the Culture, Schools and Europe Committee. Sickinger was awarded the district's Medal of Merit in 2024.
