Leisure buses in the Ludwigsburg district start the new season

The district of Ludwigsburg is once again offering attractive excursion options for those seeking relaxation and adventure this year. The popular leisure buses take passengers comfortably to interesting destinations and charming landscapes in the region at weekends and on public holidays.

The Stromer will be on the road again, but initially on a shorter route.

The "Stromer" leisure bus line (line 572), which takes passengers from Bietigheim-Bissingen directly to Tripsdrill Adventure Park, will kick off the new season. The Stromer will start the new season on March 21 and 22, 2026 for the "pre-opening" weekend. From March 28, the line will then run regularly on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays until November 1, 2026. Due to construction work and the associated closure of a section of the K 1632 between Freudental and Cleebronn, the Stromer is expected to run a shortened route from Bietigheim via Löchgau, Erligheim and Bönnigheim to Tripsdrill and back on the same route until April 30. The Stromer is expected to run the usual route via Kirbachtal and back from May 1 after the closure.

WeinKulTourer connects Marbach and Besigheim on Sundays and public holidays from May 1

The second leisure bus line, the "WeinKulTourer" (line 464), will start operating on May 1 and run until October 18. The line connects the towns of Marbach and Besigheim on Sundays and public holidays and runs through the picturesque wine landscapes of the Bottwar and Neckar valleys - ideal for excursions, hikes and culinary discoveries.

The tariff of the Stuttgart Transport and Tariff Association (VVS) applies on all leisure buses. A special service: bicycles can be transported free of charge on a trailer.
