Text reads: "Frauen Infotage, April 22 - May 3, 2024. The design features the event title prominently in bold, with images of three women showcasing diverse hairstyles and expressions, suggesting inclusivity and empowerment."

The two weeks of this year's Women's Info Days "Future. Opportunities. Life." offer a wide range of topics. These range from health and retirement provisions and financial independence to career opportunities such as (re-)starting a career, career change and advancement, career guidance and the empowerment of women. Interested parties can obtain information on these topics free of charge and with little effort: digitally and live or in a face-to-face format.

"Women on the stock market", information on health and pension law, individual advice on career prospects or inspiration for "best agers" are just some of the many offers. Unusual topics such as guided hikes for women and horse-supported coaching as well as socio-political topics such as "Women's solidarity", "Sexism in everyday working life" and "Mental load" can also be found.

Women in management positions

Only just under one in three managers in Germany and Baden-Württemberg is female. Baden-Württemberg ranks 13th among the 16 federal states, but women are in no way inferior to men when it comes to education. However, the majority of well-educated women become invisible after graduating from high school and university.

The organizers therefore want to specifically strengthen and encourage women with this year's focus topic "Women & Leadership". The portfolio includes tips and information on leadership skills, professional careers and dealing with status, power and hierarchy. Challenges and positive aspects of leadership are also highlighted. The importance of rhetorical skills is also addressed. "Sofa talk: the pleasure of leading - get the flow" or "#realtak: leading in climate protection" are some of the many highlights.

On April 26, the information and advice day starts at 4 p.m. at the Kronenzentrum in Bietigheim-Bissingen. Employers, further education institutions, the contact point for women and careers, the Ludwigsburg regional office for further vocational training and the Ludwigsburg employment agency will be providing information on career entry, change and advancement. Application folders can be professionally updated. Exciting short impulses enrich the program.

Female power with the a cappella ladies

From 7 p.m., the choir concert "FrauenPower" with the A-Cappella-Ladies from Kornwestheim will round off the information and advice day in a powerful and brilliant way. You can now register for the individual events at www.landkreis-ludwigsburg.de/fraueninfotage. This year's patron of the Women's Info Days is Bietigheim-Bissingen's Lord Mayor Jürgen Kessing. The event is organized by the Ludwigsburg district, the Ludwigsburg Employment Agency and the Regional Office for Vocational Training - Ludwigsburg, Rems-Murr-Kreis. The district's business development agency provides financial support for the Women's Info Days.
