Photo campaign invites you to explore the district

On July 1, the city cycling competition starts in the district of Ludwigsburg. A special campaign is increasing the appeal of the competition this year: anyone who visits six or more participating municipalities in the district and documents this with photos can take part in a prize draw.

Three women stand in front of a green hedge, holding a large banner that promotes a cycling event called "STADTRADELN." One woman is next to a bicycle with an orange trailer, while another stands to the side, all smiling and encouraging participation.

The aim of the international cycling competition is to cycle as many everyday journeys as possible in a climate-friendly way for 21 days from July 1. This year, the district of Ludwigsburg is also offering a special campaign: city cycling banners are hanging in prominent locations in many of the participating towns and municipalities. Anyone who finds at least six of them and takes a selfie has the chance to win one of five 50-euro vouchers from a local bicycle dealer.

These towns and municipalities are taking part: Asperg, Benningen, Bietigheim-Bissingen, Bönnigheim, Ditzingen, Eberdingen, Erdmannhausen, Freudental, Gemmrigheim, Gerlingen, Großbottwar, Korntal-Münchingen, Löchgau, Ludwigsburg, Marbach, Markgröningen, Möglingen, Murr, Oberriexingen, Oberstenfeld, Remseck, Sachsenheim, Schwieberdingen, Sersheim, Steinheim, Tamm and Walheim.

A map with all banner locations as well as conditions of participation and privacy policy can be found at www.landkreis-ludwigsburg.de/radverkehr > Stadtradeln

Info: City cycling is an international campaign of the Climate Alliance. Private individuals as well as representatives of companies, clubs, associations, institutions, cultural facilities, government offices and (high) schools join together in teams to collect as many kilometers as possible on bicycles and pedelecs for three weeks. In Baden-Württemberg, the state initiative RadKULTUR supports the competition. More information and all results at www.Stadtradeln.de
