District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier was delighted and expressed his heartfelt thanks: "The enormous solidarity and generosity that we are experiencing these days is overwhelming. Almost 100,000 euros in donations show how strong our solidarity is and how much people are willing to do for their fellow citizens. A big thank you goes to every single donor who has helped to support those affected."
Allgaier continued: "In times like these, it is invaluable that we stand together as a community and support each other. I can only emphasize this once again: Every contribution - big or small - helps to alleviate hardship."

Many thanks also go to Kreissparkasse Ludwigsburg, which has generously contributed 50,000 euros. The donations received will be used directly to support affected citizens and organizations such as associations.

This donation campaign is a joint initiative of the districts of Ludwigsburg and Göppingen as well as the Rems-Murr district and the Ostablkreis district. Those affected from the Ludwigsburg district can contact the Ludwigsburg district office via the link below and apply for a donation. The donations will be paid out in the district of Ludwigsburg as emergency aid; private households will receive 300 euros,
organizations such as associations 1,000 euros. The amount of the lump sum is based on the potential number of people affected and the amount of the donation.
