Changes to bus timetables due to the spread of the coronavirus

In view of the spread of the coronavirus and the associated closure of schools, the regional districts of the transport association as the responsible bodies for bus transport, the Stuttgart Transport and Tariff Association (VVS) and the transport companies have agreed on the following regulation: From March 17 until further notice, buses in the network area, including the Ludwigsburg district, will only run according to the vacation timetable. This means that all journeys marked "S" in the timetables will no longer take place.

As the Ludwigsburger Verkehrslinien (LVL) only provides a few journeys marked "S" in the regular timetable, the above-mentioned solution only leads to very little relief for the company. In order to maintain a functioning service, a reduction in the timetable has therefore been agreed with LVL.

From Monday, March 23, LVL will implement an extended Saturday timetable. This means that the Saturday timetable will apply from Monday to Saturday, plus additional journeys to meet the needs of commuters as far as possible. To this end, the four main lines in Ludwigsburg - 421, 422, 425 and 427 - will only run every 20 minutes. The 415 line and the 421A, 422A, 423, 425A, 427A, 430A and 433A bus routes will be completely suspended. The timetables on the other lines will also be partially adjusted and reduced.

It is recommended that you use the timetable information on the VVS homepage(www.vvs.de) and inform yourself in good time before a planned journey.
