The construction work will begin on Tuesday, June 7. The road should be open to traffic again on Monday, June 20. The closed section extends from the junction with Heimerdinger Straße to the access road to the sports fields. The sports fields can be accessed from the direction of Heimerdingen. A local detour is signposted. In order to keep the restrictions for residents and users of the school and sports facilities to a minimum, the work has been scheduled for the Whitsun vacations.
As part of the renovation work, the asphalt surface courses will be renewed, the drainage situation improved and defective kerbs replaced. The district has earmarked around 120,000 euros for the project.
The district authority asks all road users and residents for their understanding for the obstructions and restrictions.
