Christos Vavouras, Head of Social Affairs, emphasized in his welcoming address: "Child protection is not a task that individual institutions or professional groups can take on alone. Child protection is our responsibility as a society as a whole." That is why, according to Vavouras, this specialist evening is of particular importance - as an opportunity for all those who are committed to children with heart and responsibility to strengthen each other, learn from each other and take away new impulses for child protection in a joint exchange.

Strong response and important impetus for more child protection in the association

Magdalena Koch from the Silberdistel specialist advice center used a best-practice example in her presentation "Dealing with suspected cases" to present how to conduct discussions and the next steps for caregivers and associations. The volunteers took away important ideas for their work within the association and received practical recommendations for action from the presentation. The organizers Tamara Drittenpreis and Philip Tiefenbach, who work at the Ludwigsburg District Office in the area of child protection and early help coordination, were impressed by the great response to the specialist evening. They were particularly pleased to see so many volunteers dedicating themselves to the topic of child protection with great commitment and a sense of responsibility.
