"Overcoming the corona crisis together as the European Union - what can the German Council Presidency contribute?" is the topic of the European event on Monday, October 5, 7 p.m., in the main conference room of the Ludwigsburg district hall. Due to the hygiene and distancing rules, only invited and registered guests are admitted to the event, but interested citizens can follow the event via live stream on the homepage of the district administration office at www.landkreis-ludwigsburg.de.

"The coronavirus pandemic does not call for national reflexes and isolationism, but for cohesion and European solidarity in order to overcome the crisis together," says District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier. He will welcome the invited and registered guests, after which Baden-Württemberg's Minister of Justice and European Affairs, Guido Wolf, will give a keynote speech. This will be followed by a panel discussion with Minister Wolf, the Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Milan, Claus Robert Krumrei, and Alberto Barzanò, Professor at the Catholic University in Milan and resident of the province of Bergamo.
