"The coronavirus pandemic does not call for national reflexes and isolationism, but for cohesion and European solidarity in order to overcome the crisis together," says District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier. He will welcome the invited and registered guests, after which Baden-Württemberg's Minister of Justice and European Affairs, Guido Wolf, will give a keynote speech. This will be followed by a panel discussion with Minister Wolf, the Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Milan, Claus Robert Krumrei, and Alberto Barzanò, Professor at the Catholic University in Milan and resident of the province of Bergamo. They will discuss with the guests the objectives of the German EU Council Presidency, the future of German-Italian cooperation and the EU's ability to act in times of crisis. Ulrike Trampus, editor-in-chief of the Ludwigsburger Kreiszeitung, will moderate the discussion.
This is a joint event organized by the Ludwigsburg district and the Ludwigsburg chapter of the Europa-Union.
