All six vocational schools in the Ludwigsburg district took part in this campaign. On the Römerhügel campus with the Oscar-Walcker-Schule, the Robert-Franck-Schule and the Mathilde-Planck-Schule, 80 people aged 16 to 50 were vaccinated, at the Carl-Schaefer-Schule there were 70. Around 50 pupils were vaccinated at the Berufliches Schulzentrum Bietigheim-Bissingen, and the neighboring Ellentalgymnasien were also included in the campaign. At the Erich-Bracher-Schule, the response was too low to offer a vaccination at the school. However, pupils were able to be vaccinated at the other vocational schools.
For Andreas Moser, spokesperson for the school management, there is still room for improvement. It was therefore agreed to offer the vaccination campaign at the district's vocational schools again in the new school year. "The joint vaccination campaign organized by the district of Ludwigsburg and its vocational schools was well received. It is particularly important for young people to get vaccinated now. We are pleased with the good response and hope that a high vaccination rate will ensure a good start to the school year in September," summarized Andreas Moser.
Info: Vaccinations are still possible without an appointment or registration at the district vaccination centers in Ludwigsburg, Grönerstraße 33. The website www.kizlb.de also lists the tour dates for the two vaccination buses, which will be stopping at 56 locations in the district.
