Declaration "Together against sexism and sexual harassment" signed

The district of Ludwigsburg is taking a clear stance: District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier and Nadine Costeira, Chairwoman of the Staff Council of the Ludwigsburg District Office, have jointly signed the declaration "Together against sexism and sexual harassment".

Two individuals, a woman and a man, are seated at a table, each holding a pen. They are smiling and appear to be engaged in a significant discussion or agreement, with a document binder in front of them. Green plants are visible in the background.

District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier and Nadine Costeira, Chairwoman of the Staff Council, sign the declaration against sexism and sexual harassment at the Ludwigsburg District Office (Landratsamt Ludwigsburg).

By signing the pledge, the district is reaffirming its responsibility as an employer to actively combat sexism and sexual harassment. The aim is to create a respectful working environment in which discriminatory behavior has no place. The district administration office is thus pursuing the goal of identifying such incidents at an early stage, taking effective action and protecting employees in the long term.

A service agreement on dealing with sexualized harassment in the workplace has been in place for some time. In addition, measures to raise awareness and prevention are implemented on an ongoing basis. The topic is not only dealt with internally, but is also actively addressed in public in order to raise social awareness.

The Germany-wide alliance "Together against sexism" is supported by the EAF Berlin and funded by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth.
