Discovery tours in Marbach and the Bottwartal valley

The exhibition in the "Regional Window" of the Marbach-Bottwartal Tourism Association on the 2022 cycling and hiking program can be seen in the district building from 25 May to 19 July.

A hand holds two brochures featuring outdoor activities in the landscape of the Hohenlohe region, highlighting walking and nature experiences. In the background, banners display information about the Schiller Stadt Marbach and the Bottwartal area, indicating a focus on tourism and local attractions.

The Marbach-Bottwartal wine and reading landscape is a unique wine and literature region. The varied landscape, lined with vineyards and orchards, can be explored on foot and by bike on selected routes. "The nature right on our doorstep is varied and unique. It is worth exploring and discovering the paths and routes off the beaten track in the Ludwigsburg district and beyond," says District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier, inviting visitors to the exhibition.

The Marbach-Bottwartal Tourism Association represents the municipalities of Benningen, Erdmannhausen, Großbottwar, Marbach am Neckar, Murr, Oberstenfeld and Steinheim an der Murr in the district of Ludwigsburg and Beilstein in the district of Heilbronn. Interested parties are advised on current tourist offers via the website www.marbach-bottwartal.de. Tour planning and the arrangement of guided tours and accommodation are also part of the service.

With its new 2022 cycling and hiking program, the tourism association offers a wide variety of tours. There is a suitable offer for almost every level of difficulty and experience. The hiking brochure presents the Wine and Reading Trail, which combines the themes of literature and wine with 15 literary stations and a wonderful route through vineyards, fields and forests. It can be walked in its entirety or in five circular tours. Six further adventure hiking tours lead to gems of the wine-reading landscape. The cycle brochure provides an overview of various circular cycle tours between 20 and 77 kilometers in length, signposted mountain bike tours and guided cycle tours.

Cozy restaurants, wine taverns and wine taverns invite you to take a relaxing break. Barbecue areas and playgrounds are also located along the way and complete the family-friendly offer. Those interested in culture will also find many offers along the Marbach-Bottwartal route.

The exhibition in the Ludwigsburg district hall at Hindenburgstraße 40 can be viewed from May 25 to July 19, 2022 during the general opening hours of the district office. Visitors to the Kreishaus must adhere to the current coronavirus, social distancing and hygiene rules.
