The contract of Managing Director Prof. Dr. Jörg Martin ends on 31.12.2023. In talks with the three district administrators and the Mayor of Bietigheim, Martin has already signaled his willingness to extend his contract. However, the extension requires a unanimous vote by the boards of all regional companies.
The Ludwigsburg supervisory boards agreed last week to extend Martin's contract by two years. The other shareholders were looking to extend his contract by three years. A compromise was reached at yesterday's supervisory board meeting of the overall holding company and an agreement was reached: A contract extension of 24 months with an option to extend for up to 12 more months if necessary. District Administrator and RKH Supervisory Board Chairman Dietmar Allgaier: "I am delighted that an agreement was reached at the meeting of the RKH Holding Supervisory Board with all representatives of the regional companies and that we were able to reach a unanimous consensus at the meeting. The agreed extension of Managing Director Martin's contract is a great vote of confidence in him and gives RKH-Gesundheit a clear future for the coming years."
The recruitment process for the successor will then be initiated in the course of 2024. Prior to this, the Supervisory Board will make a decision on the future management structure of the clinics. Proposals for appointments will be submitted to the RKH Supervisory Board by mid-2025 at the latest. In the meantime, intensive work is being carried out on the future direction of the holding company's management structure.
