Limited opening hours of the driving license authority until the end of February

Due to the continuing high number of applications and the upcoming mandatory exchange of driving licenses, the driving license office of the district office will remain closed to customers on Tuesdays and Fridays until February 29.

Thanks to the previous closing days and the refilling of vacancies, it has been possible to significantly reduce the backlog. In order to return to normal processing times, closing days are still planned until the end of February. From March 1, 2020, the driving license authority will be open again on Fridays. From March, appointments for Tuesdays will be offered via the district's website.

The district office would like to point out that in urgent cases, customers can contact the driving license authority by email at Fahrerlaubnis[at]Landkreis-Ludwigsburg.de or by telephone on 07141 144-2055. The district office asks for your understanding for possible delays.
