In the next step, the surface course will be laid along the entire route in the first week of October.
The existing construction area in Enzweihinger Straße will be enlarged on Monday, October 2, 2023, so that the adhesive can be applied over as large an area as possible before the surface course is paved. In addition to Enzweihinger Straße, the section up to Schillerstraße will also be closed to traffic. The connections Schillerstraße/Riet and Am Pfaffenwald/Riet will remain open to traffic until Tuesday evening (October 3).
Paving of the surface course on the entire K 1686 up to the tennis court is scheduled for Wednesday, October 4.
On Thursday, October 5, asphalt work will be carried out at the junctions between Enzweihinger Straße and Schillerstraße. While Enzweihinger Straße and the connections Schillerstraße/Riet and Am Pfaffenwald/Riet will be open to traffic again from Thursday, this section will remain closed until Friday.
The entire K 1686 will be fully reopened to traffic in the course of Friday, October 6. In Enzweihinger Straße, the surface course will not yet be laid up to the junction with Gartenstraße, as pipe work is scheduled to take place here at a later date.
The sidewalks can be used by pedestrians and cyclists while the work is being carried out. From Wednesday, October 5, bus traffic will also be rerouted differently than before due to the laying of the asphalt surface course. Information about temporary bus stops will be announced by the bus operator. We ask passengers to inform themselves about any changes to the timetable.
A local detour via the K 1687 via Eberdingen to Riet is signposted.
