Online discussion group for family caregivers on June 22

Anyone who cares for a loved one and shoulders the daily responsibilities of caregiving knows how challenging—but also how rewarding—this task can be. Often, there is little room for personal interaction or support. The district’s pilot project “PflegeAuszeit” aims to address this with its monthly digital discussion group. The next session will take place on Monday, June 22, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Two hands are gently clasped together, one older and wrinkled, the other younger and smoother. They rest on a textured blanket, symbolizing connection, care, and support between generations.

Participate from the comfort of your own home

The pilot project is funded by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Social Affairs and is available free of charge to residents of Ludwigsburg County. In addition to in-person sessions, a monthly digital discussion group via Microsoft Teams has been available since January 2026. This allows family members to participate from the comfort of their own homes—flexibly and in a way that fits their daily lives.

Connect with other family members

The discussion group offers the opportunity to connect with other family members, share experiences, and receive mutual support.
